The
owner of this c.1800 farmhouse wanted handicapped accessibility without
destroying the authenticity of the architecture. We constructed a sweeping
ramp with a raised patio which provided ample maneuvering space and a
cozy afternoon sitting area. Materials used were Gardenstone in Natural
and Holland bricks in Natural with about 20% Charcoal sprinkled throughout
in keeping with the random look of materials found from that period.
